We don't have one.  We rent a commercial kitchen space. This is where we create our meals, package them, and then send them off to you.

delivery guy           Being home to accept delivery is not necessary!  When folks do not plan on being home to accept delivery, they generally find it convenient to leave a plastic picnic-type cooler where they’d like their product left—this is usually sufficient to sustain the proper temperature in the summer and in the winter. We also offer a Cooler Exchange Program.  If you do not leave out a cooler, your meals will be delivered to you in insulated coolers, cooled by Gel Packs. When you place your next order we will swap coolers. Payment for the order is generally left in the cooler or made by credit card. And often, a completed Order Form is left for us by those who wish to place their next order at that time.

Deliveries are made once per week to each delivery area. You can receive an order at any interval you choose (once per week, bi-weekly, monthly, etc) or just as-needed. Simply place your order no later than 12 p.m. the Saturday prior to your requested delivery. We will contact you that Sunday evening to let you know the expected day and time of your delivery for that week.  Orders placed after 12 p.m. Saturday will be delivered the following week.

The charge is $3.95 per delivery.

Yes,  because you can choose from a variety of serving sizes, side dishes, and desserts. We offer a volume savings instead of packages. This way you can select any meals in different sizes. For examaple... I am having my friends over for a visit and don't have time to make dinner, so I might order the 6 serving for one meal.  Even thought, my family will eat the rest of the meals as a 3 serving size.  So, it enables you to mix and match.  Your savings will increase as the amount you order also increases:

 $75.00-$99.99
5% Off
 $100.00-$149.99
 8% Off
 $150.00-$199.99

$200.00-and up

An order of about $15-20 is usually sufficient within most of our delivery area.

chicken marsala      Meals are uncooked. This is because we want you to have the most nutrients when eating your meals. When food is cooked some of the nutrients begin to break down.  When you are re-warming meals again you are loosing more and more nutrients.  Your meals will be marinated, breaded, seasoned, and layered.  But, you will need to do the cooking at home.

Some meals will be delivered fresh and some will be delivered frozen.  It usually depends on the amount of meals made for that dish and the date they were made. Each meal will have a cook or freeze by date on them.  If your meal was delivered frozen just through it in the freezer to have later or put it in the frig for dinner tomorrow.

Meals will have a cook or freeze date on them. Meals will keep their quality for up to 2 months from the date they are frozen. When thawing a meal.  Place it in the refrigerator for 24-36 hours. Some of the meals may also be cooked from frozen.

Orders may be phoned, mailed, placed on-line, or left at a previous delivery. All Orders must be received by us no later than 12 p.m. the Saturday before the scheduled delivery —this assures that all items can be prepared and delivered that week.  Orders received after 12 p.m. on Saturday will be delivered the following week after.

At Your Gourmet Chef we know the importance of purchasing local food and that's exactly what we do.  Our menu's are seasonal and are developed using what produce is in season. We purchase ingredients that are grown by local farmers and/or sold by local businesses.  Our chicken is hormone and antibiotic free, our Beef is Angus, and we will use Organic Products whenever they are available.  We do not sell the same quality food that you normally get at the grocery store or out at a restaurant. We strive to be better! We think you will love the quality, and taste for what comparably you are already spending at the grocery store.
